Visible damage assessed properly.
Four services for collision and cosmetic damage, all estimated in writing first.
Insurer estimates are written in abbreviations and often specify aftermarket or recycled parts without the owner noticing. We go through ours line by line, say which parts are new, aftermarket or recycled, and raise a supplement when hidden damage appears once a panel comes off.
Visible damage assessed properly.
Written, with parts type stated.
Line by line, in plain terms.
If hidden damage appears, before we proceed.
Damage fully exposed before committing.
Alignment checked against specification.
Replaced or repaired as the damage requires.
Verified before refinishing.
Modern vehicles have crumple zones designed to deform in a specific way. A structural repair that looks straight but is not measured leaves a car that will not behave as designed in a second impact, which is the part nobody sees and the part that matters most.
Paint fades, so a brand-new mix of your original colour will not match a ten-year-old panel beside it. Matching means blending into the adjacent panels, and we will tell you when that is necessary rather than painting one door and letting you discover it in daylight.
Mixed and tested against your panel.
Where most of the time goes.
With blending into adjacent panels.
Given proper time, then finished.
Is the paint intact and the metal unstretched.
Including when it will not work.
From behind the panel.
In good light, with you.
Where the paint is intact and the metal is not stretched, a dent can often be worked out without filler or paint — cheaper, faster, and it keeps the factory finish. We will tell you honestly when a dent is beyond it rather than attempting it and then charging for a repaint anyway.
A free written estimate, and an honest explanation of what the insurer's version says.
